THE CONNECTION THAT I HAVE WITH SANTIAGO IS THAT WHEN I HAVE AN CHOICE BETWEEN TWO THINGS I USUALLY GO AND ASK PEOPLE FOR ADVICE AND SEE WHAT THEY THINK.I WANT THEM TO TELL ME THE BOTH SIDES OF WHAT THEY THINK AND THEN I BASE ALL THAT THEY TOLD ME ON THE CHOICE I MAKE.SO YOU CAN SEE I ALWAYS GO TO OTHER PEOPLE FOR ADVICE..

MY READING SO FAR..

I HAVE BEEN READING 8 BALL CHICKS AND IT'S ABOUT A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF VIOLENT GIRL GANGS AND HOW THEY LIVE.I THINK THAT GINI WILL GO TO FAR ON HER QUESTIONS AND SHE MIGHT REGRET IT BUT IT MIGHT ME TOO LATE AND SHE MIGHT BE IN TROUBLE AND BE AT RISK.SHE'S INTERVIEWING GANG GIRLS BUT SO FAR THEY HAVE BEEN NICE TO HER AND SHE'S IN GOOD HANDS.NOW I CAN REALLY FIND OUT WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE LIVING A DANGEROUS LIFE.

DEAR ANA,
WELL I FINISHED READING THE BOOK SHOOTING THE MOON AND I WAS GLAD I READ IT.I THOUGHT YOU COULD BENIFIT FROM READING THIS BECAUSE it really opened my eyes.i learned that you can't think something is what it seems until you experience it for yourself or someone you know experiences it.I WAS SHOCKED BY WHAT I READ BUT NOW I KNOW WHAT WAR IS REALLY LIKE AND HOW SOMEONE SO SMALL CAN BE SO AFFECTED BY IT.

My Reflections and Thoughts

Right now I am reading Shooting the Moon.I don't remember the author but it has really caught my attention.The part that really got to me was when Jamie got the pictures from her brother that is in the Vietnam War.She is really stunned by what she saw.She thinks that the war is the best thing because she is a Colonel's Child.She thinks that she has to be in the war because it is her duty to serve her country.But I can't wait to get to the end.I think that Jamie will regret thinking that the war is the best and want her brother to come back.She might want to burn the pictures because they might bring horrible pictures...

Dreams

Well I believe that deams really have to do with the past and the future.I also heard that dreams protect our sleep and really can happen.I think that dreams are really a big deal and can even control what we do.I think it was the right thing for Santiago to follow his dreams and try to find the treasure that he believes is true.He was smart and we'll find out is he'll find the treasure.
